- 한국어능력시험(TOPIK, Test Of Proficiency In Korean)은 한국어를 모국어로 하지 않는 외국인과 재외 교포들을 대상으로 하는 시험이다. 이 시험은 이들에게 한국어 학습 방향을 제시하고 한국어 보급을 확대하며, 이들의 한국어 사용 능력을 측정하여 그 결과를 유학, 취업 등에 활용하게 하는 데 목적을 두고 1997년부터 해마다 한 차례씩 실시하다가 2010년 부터는 연 4회 실시하고 있다.
- TOPIK (Test Of Proficiency In Korean) is a test for foreigners who are not native speakers of Korean and for overseas Koreans. The test provides direction of learning Korean, and expands the dissemination of Hangeul. Also, the test result aims at utilizing for employment and studying abroad, by measuring the ability to use Hangeul. Since 1997, TOPIK conducted once a year and has conducted 4 times a year starting in 2010.
